Lecture: Contemporary Cosmology

Rebirth encourages us to look at the larger cosmic world. Theoretical astrophysicist and MacArthur fellow, Professor David N. Spergel, Charles A. Young Professor of Astronomy on the Class of 1897 Foundation, Professor of Astrophysical Sciences and Chair, Department of Astrophysical Sciences, Princeton University, discusses issues in contemporary cosmology including imaging massive planets with the Subaru telescope and plans to image Earth-like planets with space-based telescopes. Followed by a reception.
