Exhibition & Reception – October 23rd

ICI | Independent Curators International
Thursday, October 23, 2014, 6:30 – 8 pm
Project 35 Volume 2

Drawing from ICI’s international professional network, 35 curators are invited to each select one video work by an artist they consider important today. Tellingly, 13 of the artists in the exhibition are based in Asia, as are 10 of the curators.

The works in the second version of the exhibition, Project 35 Volume 2, reflect on culture and daily life from 35 different positions. The videos range from Aníbal López’s political documentation of presidential elections in Guatemala, to Ahmet Ögüt’s meditation on sound, youth and modernity in Turkey.

This event is open to the public, but seating is limited. RSVP required at rsvp@curatorsintl.org with event title, PROJECT 35, in the subject field.
