In its 10th edition (October 28–November 8, 2014), ACAW brings together over 35 art institutions to present cutting-edge exhibitions, innovative projects and festivities citywide, in addition to organizing two signature programs: Sonic Blossom, by Lee Mingwei– a powerful 10-day performance exhibition transcending personalities, borders and time, in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art; and FIELD MEETING Take 3: Thinking Performance– an exclusive two-day art forum staging lecture-performances, talks and discussions with over 30 keynote artists and keynote figures, including Holland Cotter, Ming Wong and Defne Ayas, Sat. Oct 31 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art
& Sun. Nov 1st at Hunter Art Galleries.
