Asia Contemporary Art Week (ACAW) is looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to assist with our signature program, FIELD MEETING: Thinking Projects on Saturday, October 14th & Sunday, October 15th at Asia Society & SVA Theatre. Please see below for more information about the program and tasks & qualifications:
 
About the Program
FIELD MEETING is an exclusive two-day forum for art professionals, conceived as a studio visit on a communal scale, staging dynamic performance, lecture-performances, talks and discussions with over 30 artists, curators, critics and other arts professionals based in Asia and beyond. This year FIELD MEETING places a special emphasis on artistic projects.
 
Tasks Include
-Manage the reception desks & check-in
-Usher / seating guests in the auditorium, manning entrance / exit
-Assist with furniture setup
-Running mic during discussion sessions / audience Q&A 
-Occasional assistance with artists, etc.
-Possible contributions to ACAW social media channels
 
Qualifications
-Independent workers
-Good communicators
-Reliable and punctual 
-Attention to detail
-Willing to represent ACAW during the event
-Enthusiastic for Visual & Performing arts, Arts Administration / Curatorial work
 
Requirements
-Must be present full day Saturday, October 14th & Sunday, October 15th. Please indicate clearly in your application if you can only be present for one day.
