With each edition of Asia Contemporary Art Week (ACAW), director Leeza Ahmady, in collaboration with select Consortium partners, curated special exhibitions and public programs under the banner of ACAW Signature Programs. These initiatives aimed to highlight the incredible vibrancy of emerging artists, regional art scenes, significant art-historical movements and timelines, new collectives, and grassroots organizations—alongside acclaimed yet underrepresented artists with limited visibility due to a lack of institutional recognition or exposure. Programs such as FIELD MEETING, FIELD REVIEW, and IN RESIDENCE provided vital platforms for artists, curators, and scholars to connect, network, and expand upon each other’s research and ideas. Through communal programs centered on dialogue, collaboration, and critical engagement, these initiatives fostered meaningful exchanges that continue to shape the future of artistic discourse between Asia and the United States.
